A few kilometres from Grosseto airport, Punta Ala is 120 km from Pisa and 180 km from Rome airport. It is connected by motorways and highways and with railway stations in Grosseto (40 km) and Follonica (17 km).
By sea, the nearest harbours are Piombino (11 miles), Porto Azzurro (15 miles), Castiglione della Pescaia (7 miles) and Talamone (24 miles).
Punta Ala is a tourist Marina protected by an outer breakwater, with 1,200 metres of quays and 13 piers. The port is divided into three docks. Punta Ala is a residential area with numerous services and sports facilities.
